When to Stream the New ‘Match Game’ Revival Hosted by Martin Short Online With Sling TV
This story was created in paid partnership with Sling.
Martin Short leads the latest revival of The Match Game, which premieres on July 23 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET on ABC — and one of the easiest ways to livestream the weekly series is on Sling.
Each week, four contestants will compete for the chance to win $25,000 by trying to match the fill-in-the-blank answers of six celebrities. Known for its comedic double entendres, the revived game show’s starry guests include Short’s Only Murders in the Building co-star, Selena Gomez, alongside Randall Park, Constance Zimmer, Ana Gasteyer, Caroline Rhea, Jay Pharaoh, Cara Delevingne, BD Wong, Kevin Nealon, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and many others.
The Match Game first arrived on TV in 1962 with host Gene Rayburn and announcer Johnny Olson and has been revived several times in different formats throughout the years. Alec Baldwin hosted and executive produced the most recent version from 2016 to 2021.
Sling offers two ways to livestream your local ABC channel: the Blue tier starting at $25.50 for the first month ($50.99 monthly thereafter) and the combined Orange & Blue package for $33 for the first month (then $65.99 per month afterwards). Both options carry nearly 50 news, entertainment and sports networks, including Fox, NBC, ESPN, MSNBC, National Geographic, FX, E!, Bravo, Discovery Channel, Lifetime, TLC, FS1 and more.
You can also expand your lineup with the Hollywood Extra add-on ($6 per month) for top entertainment networks, like FXM, TCM, Sundance TV, Reelz and others.
Sling Blue offers a number of popular networks, such as ABC (in select markets), Fox, Fox Sports, Fox News, FX, Bravo, E!, MSNBC, NFL Network, USA Network, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, TLC, SYFY and others.
You can also get the most out of the streaming service with the Sling Orange + Blue plan, which comes with all channels in the individual Sling Orange and Sling Blue packages — including ESPN, ESPN2, Disney Channel, Freeform, MotorTrend, CNN, TNT, TBS, AMC, A&E, Food Network, Nickelodeon, BET, IFC, BBC America, QVC, Comedy Central and much more.
