Remembering Ozzy Osbourne: Ranveer Singh, Vishal Dadlani, Adam Sandler & More Mourn His Demise
Legendary singer Ozzy Osbourne, who was the frontman of the English rock band Black Sabbath and is widely regarded as the godfather of heavy metal, passed away at the age of 76. His family released an official statement to inform the media and his fans of this loss.
Soon after the news broke, social media was flooded with condolence messages. Several celebrities also mourned Ozzy’s demise online. Expressing his sorrow, Ranveer Singh shared a picture of Ozzy on his Instagram story and added a broken heart, folded hand and a guitar emoji.

Stand-up comedian and actor, Vir Das, also shared a photograph of the late singer on Instagram, with a heartfelt caption. He wrote, “Shed many tears. Go on home prince. Thank you for the soundtrack to many great moments in my life. #Ozzy.” In the comments section of his post, Prateik Smita Patil wrote, “Prince of darkness forever.”

Actor Jason Momoa, who had the honour of hosting Black Sabbath’s final concert on July 5th, shared a heartfelt tribute on social media. He posted a photograph with Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and wrote, “Love you Ozzy Osbourne. All my aloha @sharonosbourne and ohana. So grateful. RIP.”

Actor Adam Sandler, who shared the screen with Osbourne in the 2000 film Little Nicky, also took to Instagram to pay tribute to his memory. He wrote, “Whether we were in our basements with our brothers, in the woods with our buddies, in the car, at a keg party, on a boat, at football practice, at a sleepover…Nobody was more badass to crank up on our speakers than the one and only prince of darkness – Ozzy Osbourne!
