Top 5 Most Memorable ‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 Moments
When single men and women are stuck in a Villa for several weeks, searching for love, there are obviously going to be endless memorable moments.
Season seven of Love Island USA, hosted by Ariana Madix, delivered plenty of drama to viewers, including jaw-dropping dumping, shocking recouplings and friendships and relationships being put to the ultimate test. This led to several viral moments between the Islanders being shared on social media throughout the season, including Nic, Amaya, Jeremiah, Hannah, Huda and more.
While there are probably too many iconic moments in the Villa to count, The Hollywood Reporter is highlighting some of the best and worst moments from season seven of Love Island USA, below.
Since Huda decides to share with her fellow Islanders that she’s a mother to a little girl at different times when she felt comfortable, it made for a notably iconic moment shared between her and Nic in the Villa.

“OK, I have a secret to tell you. All the girls know, Jeremiah knows, but you have to promise me you’re not going to say anything to the other guys because it’s not their business, but I’m a mommy,” she tells him. However, Nic appears confused and responds, “Mommy?”
“I’m a mom,” Huda reiterates as Nic adds, “Mamacita.” They both laugh before Huda clarifies again, “No, I’m a mommy.” Nic replies, “A mom of what? A dog?”
“I have a daughter,” Huda says as Nic asks, “Like in real life? Like a daughter? Like a real baby?” Huda responds, “Yeah, like a human child,” as they both break out in laughter.
The moment obviously went viral on social media, making way for several memes and lip-sync videos, including from celebrities like Megan Thee Stallion, Lili Reinhart, Demi Lovato and more.
It wasn’t a huge shocker when fan-favorites Amaya and Bryan were crowned the winning couple of Love Island USA season seven. While their romantic connection didn’t spark until later in the season, it was clear that viewers still fell in love with what appeared to be a genuine dynamic between them.
After Madix revealed they were the winners, they jumped and screamed with excitement. Then, Amaya — known for her electrifying personality — got her iconic zoomies, running around the Villa with Bryan to celebrate.
“I feel like I’m flying in the sky right now,” Amaya said after winning. “I just feel so seen and validated, and for people to see how powerful our connection is. I would do this ride all over again if it led me to him.” Bryan added, “Meeting Amaya here has turned my experience around ridiculously. I’m so thankful to meet this person, and I’d do this experience 100 times over.”
Season seven also delivered the most awkward date in Love Island USA history. Though Chris and Huda made it to the finale, they were already facing some setbacks as a couple before their final date on the show. It seemed that they might try to work it out; however, they actually did the exact opposite during their date and decided to end their romance.
Let me set the scene for you: Huda and Chris are sharing a romantic candlelight dinner on the water when they decide to unpack their issues, leading them to call it quits. As the pair sits there in silence, sharing glances with each other, a singer comes out to perform a romantic song, making the moment even more awkward. Once the date was over, Chris left Huda, leaving her to walk through the water alone.
Thankfully, the duo seemed to get on friendly terms before the last night, when the winners were crowned, making their dynamic a little less awkward.
How to make all of America’s jaws drop all at once? Dump Jeremiah and Hannah from the Villa on the same night.
The shocking moment came shortly before the girls left for Casa Amor, when viewers got to vote on their favorite Islanders. The three girls with the lowest amount of votes were Amaya, Hannah and Iris, and the three boys were Austin, Jeremiah and Pepe, meaning they were all at risk of being dumped from the Villa. However, the safe Islanders got to choose which person they were ultimately going to send home out of each trio.
From a viewer’s perspective, it would make sense to send home the Islanders who didn’t have a current romantic connection with anyone, which was Amaya and Austin at the time. Although, in a surprising twist, the girls decided to send Hannah home, despite her having a connection with Pepe, and the boy chose to dump Jeremiah, even though he was getting to know the new bombshell, Andreina.
The safe Islanders didn’t share a lot of details surrounding their decisions, leading viewers to express their outrage on social media. There were even petitions to bring back Jeremiah and Hannah at one point; however, they never returned.
Madix later told The Hollywood Reporter that she was “so confused as to how all of a sudden America was upset” regarding Jeremiah’s dumping because enough viewers didn’t vote for him as their favorite. She then shared some insider tea: “Jeremiah was the absolute last for the boys. So if it was just going off of America’s vote, he would have gone home anyways.”
There’s one thing Amaya knows for sure, and that’s her worth. While she struggled to find a romantic connection initially in the Villa (though ultimately found romance with Bryan, winning over America’s heart), fans quickly fell in love with her genuine personality, songwriting abilities and iconic metaphors (“If I’m not your cup of tea, don’t fucking drink it.”)
But there was one moment in particular that fans became obsessed with and went viral. A clip of Amaya singing her own song while alone in the girls’ dressing room was played during a Love Island: Aftersun episode “I never said that I was perfect. I never said I didn’t have any flaws. But at least I’m pretty and at least I’m a little funny. And at least I’m my own best friend,” she sings in the wholesome moment.
