Exclusive: Ibrahim Ali Khan Underwent Extensive Action Training for His Role in Sarzameen
Ibrahim Ali Khan is making a striking impression with his presence in the trailer of his upcoming film Sarzameen. While the teaser had already piqued curiosity and sparked conversations, the trailer has taken the excitement to a whole new level. Ibrahim looks effortlessly charming, and his impactful screen presence in this fresh avatar is winning hearts all around. In the trailer, he was seen donning a long beard with surma in the eyes. Interestingly, the actor underwent extensive action training for his role in the film.
According to an independent industry source, “Ibrahim Ali Khan will be seen performing intense action in his upcoming film Sarzameen. To prepare for the role, he underwent extensive action training. He not only learned various forms of action but also pulled down weight from 83kg to 77kg for this role. He dedicated a significant amount of time to perfecting his action skills.”
In Sarzameen, Ibrahim Ali Khan will share screen space with Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran, and going by his look in the trailer, the film promises to be both thrilling and intriguing.
During an exclusive conversation with Filmfare, Ibrahim spoke about the film and said, “Actually, the first day of shoot I ever did was for a movie that’s not out yet. It was with a phenomenal actress, Kajol, and a superstar in the South, Prithviraj. Working with Prithviraj was life-changing. Such a cool guy, what a star. I fell in love with the South industry. There’s something really intriguing about it. I want to do a movie there but who will do it with me? I hope someone will. Prithviraj is a powerhouse. I learnt a lot by observing him. And Kajol is phenomenal. My first day was nerve-wracking.”
He also admitted that he tries hard to rise above the nerves and added, “I didn’t think too much about it. I have to grow, work harder and be better. There’s a lot more I can do by working on my craft. But I’m in a good space, looking forward to my future movies, hoping to make a mark as an actor.”
