Strong performances and solid word of mouth helped the film find its initial audience. The film’s evening shows, and late-night screenings have reported a gradual pickup, which is a positive sign for the weekend ahead. Directed by Pulkit, the film explores themes of loyalty and power, set against the backdrop of the Mumbai underworld.
Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan
Directed by Santosh Singh, this heartfelt romantic drama features Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey in lead roles. The film collected Rs 0.35 crore (net) on day one. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan marks Shanaya Kapoor’s big-screen debut and tells a sweet, emotional story of love and timing. As a new-age love story aimed at the youth, the film has found a smaller but specific audience on opening day, and the makers hope it will grow further through word-of-mouth and family viewership over the weekend.
