Hrithik penned the heartfelt note as he bid adieu to his much-celebrated on-screen character of Major Kabir Dhaliwal from the War franchise. The first instalment emerged as the highest-grossing film of 2019, with his on-screen character of Kabir being celebrated by fans and audience alike. War 2 promises the return of Kabir with a growth arc as it will be more menacing, darker and bulkier than War.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in leading roles. The film is all set to release in theatres on August 14, 2025.
