Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s Reunion Grabs Attention at Metro…In Dino Screening

Ahead of the theatrical release ofMetro…In Dino, the makers organised a special screening attended by numerous stars on Thursday evening. 

Directed by Anurag Basu, this film is a spiritual sequel to Life In A…Metro, boasting of a quality ensemble cast. One of the stars from the film, Sara Ali Khan was accompanied by her younger brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, followed by a surprise arrival of her Love Aaj Kal co-star, Kartik Aaryan. 

In a video circulating on social media, Sara and Ibrahim were observed welcoming guests, and then Kartik Aaryan approached to greet them. Sara, dressed in a radiant white attire, engaged in a friendly conversation with Kartik. 

The two actors seemed to be very comfortable catching up with each other, which naturally grabbed the attention of fans. Although Sara and Kartik had not publicly acknowledged their relationship, but of course, there were rumours that they were involved in a relationship during the filming of Love Aaj Kal (2020). Their apparent chemistry outside of the film also garnered significant media interest, despite their preference for keeping things private. 

During a previous interview, Kartik discussed speculations about relationships without mentioning any specific names. He said, “I’ve never spoken about my relationships, and I expect the same from my partner. Respecting each other’s privacy is important, especially when others might misinterpret what you say.” 

On Koffee With Karan season 9, Sara also discussed heartbreak and emotional maturity, when questioned about going through a past relationship, hinting at Kartik without directly mentioning his name. She shared, “It isn’t always easy. When you’re involved with anybody, friends, professionally, romantically, you get invested. It’s not like ‘Oh it doesn’t matter.’ It does affect you. But ultimately, you have to rise beyond that.” 

With the release of Metro…In Dino today, it is expected that Sara will be involved in promoting the film alongside her fellow co-stars. Simultaneously, Kartik is presently engaged in filming another romantic drama with Anurag Basu, where he will be starring opposite Sreeleela. This untitled film is scheduled for release in Diwali 2025.
