Metro… In Dino Public Review: Netizens React to The Romantic Film
Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino hit the big screens today, marking his return to direction after five years. A spiritual sequel to his 2007 film Life in a…Metro, this romantic drama brings together an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal. The film explores multiple heartfelt stories of modern-day couples and has already struck a chord with the audience, thanks to its emotional depth and soothing music.

Though the film has just released in theatres, it’s already confirmed to stream on Netflix after its theatrical run. The official poster itself mentions Netflix as the streaming partner. While an exact OTT release date hasn’t been announced yet, going by the usual window of 45 to 60 days, fans can expect it to arrive on the platform sometime in late August or early September. Until then, the only way to experience it is on the big screen.
Metro In Dino has opened to mostly positive reviews, with critics appreciating Anurag Basu’s honest storytelling. Some have pointed out minor flaws, but the film is being praised for its emotional sincerity and strong performances. With its mix of nostalgia and fresh stories, it feels like a worthy follow-up to Life in a Metro. Scroll down for public reviews on X.
Didn’t appreciate the sly tongue Ibrahim was giving Kartik at the Metro Inn Dino Screening, he should respect his more accomplished seniors. You can tell Kartik wasn’t enjoying that Convo, the camera was right there too and they knew it, in public too. A great Disappointment .
