Dhun: Arijit Singh’s Voice Shines in Saiyaara’s Romantic Track

Ahaan Pandey is all set to step into Bollywood with his debut film Saiyaara, which is releasing on July 18. Ahead of the big day, the makers have been treating fans to new songs from the film. Today, they dropped another soulful track titled Dhun, which marks the reunion of the hit musical trio Arijit Singh, Mithoon and Mohit Suri. The trio has previously delivered some of the biggest romantic songs in Hindi cinema and is now back with yet another emotional number under Yash Raj Films.

The music video of Dhun begins with Ahaan Pandey performing passionately in the rain in front of a crowd. As he sings, the visuals take viewers through his memories and moments with Aneet Padda, hinting at the depth of their onscreen bond. The song has already started creating a buzz online, with fans flooding the comments section with love. Arijit Singh’s voice, Mithoon’s composition and Mohit Suri’s direction once again blend seamlessly to bring out raw emotion.

Mohit Suri and Mithoon’s musical partnership goes back nearly 20 years. They first joined hands in 2005 with the films Zeher and Kalyug and have since worked on some of the most memorable albums including Murder 2, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Half Girlfriend and Malang. Their long-standing collaboration has given Bollywood many iconic love songs and now continues with Saiyaara.

Arijit Singh and Mohit Suri have also created magic together with songs like Tum Hi Ho, Chahun Main Ya Naa, Hum Mar Jayenge, Humdard and Chal Ghar Chalen. With Saiyaara, they return to the romantic space once again. Produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara stars newcomers Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda, and has already won hearts with its soundtrack featuring songs by Jubin Nautiyal, Vishal Mishra, Sachet-Parampara and now Dhun.
