Vaani Kapoor and Vaibhav Raj Gupta’s Crime Thriller Mandala Murders to Release in July
In the eerie stillness of a town called Charandaspur, an unheard, sinister pattern of crime emerges. A series of ritualistic killings linked to a centuries-old secret society sets the stage for a conspiracy driven by fate. Mandala Murders, a first-of-its-kind mythological-crime thriller, has its release date. The story promises to pull audiences into a world where every clue leads deeper into a long-buried prophecy. Produced by YRF Entertainment & created by Gopi Puthran (of Mardaani franchise fame), who also co-directed the series with Manan Rawat, Mandala Murders is a genre-bending show packed with mystery, crime, myths and suspense.
The story follows Rea Thomas and Vikram Singh who are drawn into a web of secrets as intricate as a mandala following a string of murders. As they decode mysterious symbols and hidden motives, they confront a secret society that has dangerously blurred the line between faith and madness.
Mandala Murders is headlined by Vaani Kapoor, who is presented in a powerful new role, alongside powerhouse performers Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Surveen Chawla and Shriya Pilgaonkar, playing prime characters at the heart of the mystery.
Earlier this year, when the teaser of Mandala Murders was released, Vaani Kapoor said, “It’s the first time I am venturing into the digital arena with YRF and Netflix, it’s a proud moment. I’ve never done action, crime or thriller genres. I’m excited that I got this opportunity.”
She added, “This is the first time I have had the opportunity to get into the psyche, navigating through a maze of intrigue and suspense. It was edge of the seat like what will happen next. That kind of a series.”

Mandala Murders will be premiered on July 25 exclusively on Netflix. Following the global success of The Railway Men, Mandala Murders marks the next chapter in the creative partnership between Netflix and Yash Raj Films.
