Vicky Kaushal talks about Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
The upcoming film, Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is set to showcase a talented trio of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. Having been announced in 2024, the film is presently in the production stage. Although Vicky has previously acted alongside Ranbir in Sanju and with Alia in Raazi, Love And War will be the first time where he collaborates with both actors simultaneously.
During a recent interview, Vicky Kaushal discussed his experience on Love & War, taking a moment to offer praise for his co-actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Vicky also shared his perspectives on the much-awaited film and spoke very positively about Ranbir and Alia. He mentioned, “They are outstanding, but more than that, what I love about Ranbir and Alia is that they are amazing human beings. I have worked with them on Sanju and Raazi, and it’s the second time working with both of them. That’s what makes it fun and easy.”

Also, during their discussion, both Kareena and Vicky considered the difficulties of managing their professional and personal commitments. Vicky mentioned that due to his demanding schedule, particularly while filming Love & War, he has very little time to dedicate to his wife, Katrina Kaif.
Vicky shared, “Right now I’m in that phase where I’m shooting nights, so you are getting very limited time. Because you just get up and go. Now she has jokingly started pinching it in. She says, ‘I’m just going to call you Mr. Go. Because every time I see you, you’re like, I need to go.’ So that, but then there are phases also where you have to consciously plan out. Like, this is our time. But then, you kind of figure it out.”

Kareena, who also was in the interview, jokingly described her relationship with the Love & War director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali as ‘love and war.’ Sharing her thoughts on Vicky working with Bhansali, she said, “I am waiting to see you in the Bhansali film. Of course, he is the Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Love & War is actually me and Sanjay. You can tell him that. He will understand. We have love and war.”
Although they have never worked on a film together, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have a history of almost collaborating. She was originally cast in Devdas but was later replaced by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan due to creative differences. Years later, she was considered for Ram-Leela but chose to opt out, choosing Gori Tere Pyaar Mein instead. Deepika Padukone eventually played Leela, and the film was a huge success.
