Glamorous Duo: Sonam Kapoor and Cate Blanchett Shine at The Serpentine Summer Party

Sonam Kapoor recently visited the Serpentine Gallery. She was also announced as Member of the Summer Party Host Committee while attending Arpita Singh’s exhibition: Remembering. Following the exhibition, Sonam attended the Serpentine Summer Party, co-hosted by Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett. She attended the invitation-only fundraiser designed to bring together leading individuals and supporters of the institution from the worlds of art, fashion, business and technology.

At the Summer Party, Sonam, the global ambassador for the French luxury fashion house Dior, sported a Kimono jacket from the Dior Fall 2025 collection. The kimono comes with a sophisticated silhouette, coupled with intricate flower detailing. For her makeup, Sonam chose muted tones. However, opted for a Smokey eye look. She used a muted shade of red for her lips. Sonam kept her hair neatly placed alongside the shoulders. She carried a black handbag to complete the look.

Others present at the fundraiser included Isha Ambani, Eiza González, Alicia Vikander, Rebel Wilson, Georgia May Jagger, Lady Amelia Spencer, Lady Eliza Spencer, Lily Allen and more. After the fundraiser, Sonam Kapoor along with Serpentine Trustee Eugenio López Alonso hosted the Serpentine Summer Party After Party where she sported a full Givenchy look with a leather trench coat from Sarah Burton’s Paris collection.

While Sonam hasn’t announced her comeback in the movies yet, she is seen in fashion events time and again. She was last seen in a crime thriller called Blind, which was released in OTT on July 7, 2023. For those unaware, she played a visually impaired character who ends up getting caught in a cat and mouse chase with a serial killer.

As for her personal front, Sonam shares adorable clicks with her family, including husband Anand Ahuja and son Vayu. She recently wished Ahuja on their wedding anniversary with heartwarming throwbacks.
