Sonakshi Sinha Reveals She Met Zaheer Iqbal at Salman Khan’s Party

Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan share a close bond with each other, as he launched her Bollywood career with the 2010 film Dabangg. In a recent interview, she mentioned that Salman Khan also had an important influence on her relationship with Zaheer Iqbal, highlighting his supportive presence in her life.

On being asked about Salman’s reaction to her marriage with Zaheer, Sonakshi shared that he was pleased and said that she was grateful to Salman for making her meet Zaheer. In an interview, Sonakshi also stated that Salman was obviously happy and fond of both Zaheer and her. She further added that their meeting was a direct result of Salman’s actions, giving him full credit.

When asked about Salman’s role in her relationship with Zaheer, Sonakshi clarified that he wasn’t precisely a matchmaker. She explained that their meeting took place at a party held at Salman’s house, so his role was more like a “sutradhar”.

On being asked about her experience of working in her debut film, Dabangg, Sonakshi remembered feeling quite apprehensive on her first day on set, admitting a lack of preparation and uncertainty about the project. She described the experience as a bit overwhelming, where she felt unsure about many things. However, she recognized the task she had on her hand and the opportunity she was presented with, and once she began her work, she started feeling more committed to the role.

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in the horror-comedy, Kakuda. She will next be seen in Nikita Roy, a supernatural drama directed by her brother, Kussh Sinha and scheduled for release on June 27. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal, and Suhail Nayyar in leading roles. This film will also see Sonakshi in a different role which she has never tried before making it a much-anticipated film for her fans.
