Box Office Update: Here’s How Sitaare Zameen Par Performed on Day 4

In its first three days, the film collected Rs 10.7 crore on Friday, Rs 20.2 crore on Saturday, and Rs 27.25 crore on Sunday and now with Monday’s figure added, the four-day total now stands at Rs 66.65 crore. Though the Monday number has seen a considerable fall from Sunday, it’s still a fair hold by weekday standards and reflects continued interest from viewers, specially in family audiences.
Now entering its first full week, Sitaare Zameen Par has a clear window with minimal competition. The coming days will be crucial in determining its long-term box office success. If the film continues to perform steadily through the week, it stands a strong chance of crossing the Rs 100 crore mark by the end of its first extended run. Much will depend on how well it holds on Tuesday and Wednesday, traditionally slower days at the box office.

With no major new release until Friday, the film has room to build on its current numbers. However, the real test will begin when it goes up against Kajol’s Maa, a mythological horror drama releasing later this week. Until then, Sitaare Zameen Par continues to benefit from word-of-mouth and strong audience support, especially from families and younger viewers.
