Salman Khan to begin shooting for his next film on Galwan from July

Salman Khan’s next film, based on the Galwan Valley clash, is all set to go on floors in July 2025. The movie will be shot in locations like Ladakh and Mumbai, with a 25-day schedule in Ladakh. The film is based on the best-selling novel, India’s Most Fearless and features Salman Khan as an army officer. To achieve this, he is reportedly adhering to a strict fitness routine and diet.

Reports also mention that Salman Khan will be sporting a crew cut in the film to resemble an army officer. There could also be a look test sometime in early July which would also be used as an announcement for the film. Many action sequences across the film will be filmed in Ladakh, with additional shots done in Mumbai. Salman has dedicated significant time to the project, aiming to complete it by November 2025.

The casting for Galwan film is underway too with reports suggesting Chitrangda Singh might be the female lead opposite Salman Khan. The plan of the makers is to look to cast credible names to play key parts in the film.

Salman Khan is also likely to team up with Kabir Khan again after completing Apoorva Lakhia’s film. According to sources, they have mutually agreed on a subject and Kabir is working on developing it. There is a 90 percent chance this film will be a follow-up to Galwan, and discussions for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 are also happening, but Salman and Kabir want to do a standalone film first before plans chime in for the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster film.
