Junaid Khan & Sai Pallavi’s Ek Din Teaser To Release With Sitaare Zameen Par
In an exciting update for fans of new age Bollywood, the teaser for Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming film Ek Dinis expected to be unveiled in cinemas alongside Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film Sitaare Zameen Par on June 20, 2025. The strategic move aims to give Ek Din a grand first impression in front of large theatre audiences.
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the teaser will be shown before screenings of Sitaare Zameen Par across the country. A source close to the development revealed, “The film is ready for release, and Aamir and his team felt Sitaare Zameen Par was the best launchpad. The film is expected to draw big crowds, making it a perfect platform to introduce Ek Din to the masses.”
Ek Din was initially set for a Valentine’s Day 2025 release but was postponed after Junaid’s Bollywood debut film Loveyapa, released on February 7, received mixed reviews and negative response at the box office. The new film, however, looks promising, especially with Sai Pallavi co-starring, known for her strong screen presence and natural acting. The film was shot in Sapporo, Japan, during a snowy winter festival, giving it a unique visual aesthetic. In an earlier interview with News18 Showsha, Junaid Khan praised his co-star, saying, “Sai Pallavi is absolutely fantastic. I’ve my fingers crossed for this one.”
Meanwhile, Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan’s spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par, is also making waves. The film stars Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, and Aroush Datta, with music by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, and background score by Ram Sampath. It had faced some certification hurdles but has now been cleared by the CBFC, locking its release for June 20.
With Ek Din’s teaser set to ride the wave of Aamir’s big release, all eyes are on Junaid Khan as he steps into the spotlight once again, this time, with high hopes and a strong cast alongside him.
