Farhan Akhtar Brings War Hero Maj Shaitan Singh PVC To The Silver Screen In 120 Bahadur

Actor Farhan Akhtar is all set to star in 120 Bahadur, a powerful war drama that tells the real-life story of Maj Shaitan Singh Bhati, the brave Indian Army officer who led one of the most heroic last stands in Indian history. The film is inspired by the 1962 India-China war, focusing on the Battle of Rezang La.
Maj Shaitan Singh was born in 1924 in Rajasthan. He was the commanding officer of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment. On 18th November 1962, Maj Singh and his company of 120 soldiers fought valiantly against a much larger Chinese force in the freezing heights of Rezang La, Ladakh. Despite being heavily outnumbered and cut off from support, they refused to retreat. Their stand protected the Chushul airstrip, a key location during the war, and became a lasting symbol of bravery and patriotism. 114 Indian soldiers were martyred, but their sacrifice stunned the enemy and inspired generations.
