Priyanka Chopra Jonas Pays Emotional Tribute To Mannara Chopra’s Father
Mannara Chopra is going through a tough time as she lost her father, Advocate Raman Rai Handa, on Monday, June 16, he was 71. She shared the heartbreaking news through an emotional statement on social media that read, “With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family.” Raman Handa, who practiced law at the Delhi High Court, had reportedly been unwell for the past few days due to undisclosed reasons.

Priyanka Chopra, Mannara’s cousin, also expressed her grief. Taking to her Instagram stories, she wrote a heartfelt message, it read, “You’ll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti.” Her brother, Siddharth Chopra, too, paid tribute by resharing Mannara’s post and wrote, “Will miss you Raman uncle,” along with a folded hands emoji. The family, who recently celebrated Siddharth’s wedding together, is now rallying around each other in this moment of deep sorrow.
The final rites of Raman Rai Handa will be held on Tuesday, June 18, at 1 PM at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli, Andheri West, Mumbai. He is survived by his wife, Kamini, and their daughters, Mannara and Mitali. Raman Handa was not only a respected lawyer but also someone his family leaned on, a guiding force who always stood strong for them.

On the work front, Mannara was last seen in reality shows like Bigg Boss 17 and Laughter Chefs. She made her Bollywood debut with Zid and had recently been seen spending quality time with her extended family during Siddharth Chopra’s wedding festivities. His sudden passing has left a deep void in their lives.
