Balasaheb Thackeray’s grandson Aaishvary to debut in Bollywood with Anurag Kashyap
Late Balasaheb Thackeray’s grandson Aaishvary Thackeray is all set to make his Bollywood debut with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Aaishvary, who began his journey as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani in 2015, will be seen making his grand debut in the next untitled film.
A source close to the project shared, “In every meeting, Anurag’s film with Aaishvary is a major topic of discussion. The film has become one of the most talked about projects in production houses across the industry.”

Despite his high-profile background, Aaishvary maintains a remarkably low public profile. For those unknown, Aaishvary is the son of Smita and Jaidev Thackeray. He is the grandson of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray. His uncle, Uddhav Thackeray, is a former Maharashtra Chief Minister.
