Superboys of Malegaon to release on THIS date
Superboys of Malegaon is all set to hit theatres on February 28, 2025, across India, the US, UK, UAE, Australia, and New Zealand. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti under Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, the film is directed by Reema Kagti and written by Varun Grover. It features Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan in lead roles.
The story follows Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the small town of Malegaon. Life there isn’t easy, but the community finds joy in Bollywood films. Inspired to create something for his town, Nasir brings together a group of friends to turn his dream into reality, spreading hope and happiness through the magic of cinema.
The film has already earned praise at global festivals, including TIFF, BFI London, Palm Springs, and Red Sea. After its theatrical run, it will stream on Prime Video, reaching audiences in over 240 countries.
