Rebecca Hall Joins ‘Godzilla x Kong’ Costar Dan Stevens in Adam Wingard’s ‘Onslaught’ (Exclusive)
Rebecca Hall is reuniting with her Godzilla x Kong director Adam Wingard for the action thriller Onslaught.
The move also sees the actress, whose true-life drama Peter Hujar’s Day premiered at Sundance over the weekend, reteam with Dan Stevens, her Monsterverse co-star who is also part of the cast of the A24 action thriller now in production.
Adria Arjona stars as a mother living in a trailer who falls back on a particular set of skills in order to protect her loved ones after she runs afoul of a threat that has escaped a secret military base. The call sheet also includes UFC Champion Alex ”Poatan” Pereira, Michael Biehn, Eric Wareheim and Reginald VelJohnson.
Character details for Hall were unavailable, but sources said the part was related to Stevens’ role. Stevens is playing a German scientist working on the experiments that escape.

Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett will produce Onslaught under their Ryder Picture Company banner alongside A24. Also producing is Alexander Black for Lyrical Media. Wingard and manager Jeremy Platt will also produce via their new shingle Breakaway Civilization, along with Barrett.
Lyrical’s Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers are executive producing with A24. The two companies are also co-financing.
Hall was one of the human stars in the two hit Godzilla x Kong movies, directed by Wingard. In addition to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Hall also worked with Stevens in the 2017 relationship drama Permission.
The British actress can currently be seen in BBC series The Listeners and will be part of the cast of the Ryan Murphy FX series The Beauty, alongside Evan Peters, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos and Jeremy Pope. The series is based on the Image Comics title.
She will next be seen in Ella McCay, a James L. Brooks’ dramedy for 20th Century Studios whose ensemble includes Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson and Ayo Edebiri, among others.
