Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan get temporary police protection

Saif Ali Khan was stabbed at his home in Bandra last week. The actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital after he sustained multiple injuries. Now that the actor has recovered and returned home, security has been amped up.

As per reports on a leading news portal, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been given temporary police protection. Ronit Roy’s company is reportedly handling Saif and his family’s security.

Earlier, CCTV cameras were installed at Saif’s home and the building. Moreover, the Bandra police have increased patrolling in the neighbourhood on foot and via vehicles. The building will also monitor visitors on an hourly basis. 

According to reports, an individual named Shariful was arrested for attacking Saif. He came from Bangladesh and tried entering Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat before heading towards Saif’s home.

The police are yet to record Saif Ali Khan’s official statement. Further details about the case are awaited.
