FIR filed after Kapil Sharma receives a death threat
Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma has received a death threat via email from Pakistan. This comes amid death threats issued to Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra and Remo D’Souza. An FIR under section 351(3) of BNS has been registered with Amboli Police against the unknown person.
The email sent to Sharma reads, “We are monitoring your recent activities, and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.” They demanded a reply from the celebrities within 8 hours, failing which they would have had to face consequences.
The sender identified himself as Bishnu.
Prior to this, Sugandha Mishra received a similar threat and filed complaints at the police station. Rajpal Yadav and Remo D’Souza, who were threatened last December, also filed police complaints.
