EXCLUSIVE: Pratibha Ranta & Konkona Sen Sharma wrap OTT film in Poland
Last year in October, Filmfare was the first to tell you that Pratibha Ranta and Konkona Sen Sharma were heading to Poland to shoot for a new OTT film. Now we’ve got the latest update from the project. Pratibha and Konkona have wrapped up the shoot in Warsaw and other Polish locations and are back in the bay.
The film will play on Netflix sometime later this year. While other details of the project are being kept under wraps, we’ve found out that the subject deals with a relationship between two women. The story has some really progressive themes.
Pratibha is still soaking in the love and adulation for Laapataa Ladies and Heeramandi. Konkona recently celebrated 20 years of her film Page 3 with a social media post that read, “I can hardly believe PAGE 3 released 20 years ago! My first experience of filming in Bombay. This was 2005, the year of the flood and the year I moved to this city which has now been my home for over two decades! At the time I was young, full of abandon and free of expectations but today I look back with so much gratitude. Thank you Madhur Bhandarkar for Madhvi Sharma, a character I received so much love for. Thank you Tara Sharma Saluja and Sandhya Mridul for the lifelong friendships.”
