EXCLUSIVE: Janhvi & Sidharth’s Param Sundari has a Mani Ratnam connection

Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra are shooting for their new film Param Sundari in Kerala right now. A few days ago, Filmfare told you what dance form Janhvi had learnt for this film and now we’ve got more deets from this special project. The team is shooting key scenes in Alleppey, Kerala in a 45-day schedule.

Not just that, there’s a special Mani Ratnam connection to Param Sundari’s shoot too. Janhvi and Sidharth recently shot at Athirappilly waterfalls. It’s the same location where Mani Ratnam shot some of his most iconic sequences from films like Iruvar, Dil Se.., Raavan and Guru. We can surely expect some picturesque scenes in Param Sundari.

That’s not all. We’ve also been given some casting news for Param Sundari. There’s a new actor on board for the film. The young lad hails from Chennai and he’s slated to play Janhvi’s suitor in the movie. We can’t wait to see who this newcomer is. Param Sundari is being directed by Tushar Jalota, who recently directed Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur’s Dasvi.
