Netflix Renews ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ for Season 4

Netflix has renewed the David E. Kelley legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer for another round in the courtroom.

Production will begin on a fourth season next month in Los Angeles, the video streaming giant said Tuesday. Season 4 will comprise 10 episodes and will be based on the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series by Michael Connelly, The Law of Innocence.

The show follows Mickey Haller, played Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, as “an iconoclastic idealist, [who] runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles,” according to the synopsis.

Garcia-Rulfo will return as Mickey Haller, the hotshot LA defense attorney working his way through the criminal justice system from his trademark Lincoln. Also returning is Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole to play Izzy and Angus Sampson as Cisco.

Neve Campbell in the character of Maggie McPherson will also return for the entire new season. Campbell had a diminished role in the second season and her character accepted a new job in a different city in the finale.

Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez will showrun the fourth season of the series from A+E Studios that hails from the same Michael Connelly book series that birthed the original Matthew McConaughey feature of the same title.

The executive producer credits are shared by David E. Kelley, Ted Humphrey, Michael Connelly, Dailyn Rodriguez, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, Matthew J. Lieberman and Gladys Rodriguez.
