John Cena, Logan Paul Hit the Road in Roku’s ‘What Drives You’ Talk Show Trailer
John Cena hits the road with his car bro guests and their fave vehicles in the trailer for the wrestler-turned-actor’s talk show for Roku Originals, What Drives You.
“This is like an assault vehicle style G-wagon,” Cena tells rock band Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker about his customized Mercedes Benz G-Wagon 4X42 at one point in the short teaser, before a drive in the massive off-roader.
Cena also goes under the hood with country singer Jelly Roll in Nashville, and while a passenger in Jelly’s RAM 1500 Laramie learns about his journey from being a convict to fatherhood and stardom. “As soon as me and my wife moved to a good, safe school district for our daughter, I made it,” the heavily tattooed music star reveals in the trailer.
Cena, as he gets set to leave his WWE pro wrestling days behind him, has played starring roles in the films Blockers and The Suicide Squad. He also made multiple appearances in the Fast & Furious franchise and appeared in the comedy thriller Argylle, the Barbie movie andhad a guest-starring role in FX’s The Bear.
But now his talk show trailer also has Cena in Puerto Rico to meet Logan Paul in his boxing gym and go for a drive in the pro wrestler’s Ford Bronco, while also having Cena marvel with former WWE rival, Michael “The Miz” Mizanin, over his Tesla Model X Plaid.
What Drives You is produced by ITV America’s Leftfield Pictures. David George, Shawn Witt, Sean Moran, Jay Bienstock, Cena and Dan Baime share the executive producer credits, while Sean Boyle oversees the series for Roku Originals.
