Ira Khan on her bond with brother Junaid Khan

Ira Khan recently spoke about her evolving bond with her brother, Junaid, who made his Bollywood debut last year with Maharaj and is set to star in Loveyapa . Growing up, Ira shared that they often fought, especially before Junaid went to college. However, once he became more focused on his own life, their relationship matured and they became very close, with Ira describing it as a fun and significant shift.

Recalling their childhood, Ira mentioned how their bond was marked by rivalry and a desire for independence. She humorously shared how, as a child, she would rebel against Junaid’s interests, like his love for Manchester United, just to be different. Their constant bickering finally came to an end when Junaid got busy with his college life.

Ira also discussed her father, Aamir Khan, and his celebrity status. She admitted that while she didn’t fully grasp her father’s fame as a child, she was always aware of it. Her schoolmates were curious about her father and eager to be friends with her because of his popularity, though Ira never felt judged by them. To her, Aamir was just a regular parent, always checking in on her well-being despite his busy career.
