Bollywood fans are waiting with bated breath for the release of Metro…In Dino. It is a spiritual sequel of Life in a…Metro. Out of the original cast members, only actress Konkona Sen Sharma has been retained for the sequel. While fans are excited for the film, they have often expressed that they miss the late artistes Irrfan Khan and KK, who were an essential part of Life in a…Metro. Now, director Anurag Basu has revealed that it was none other than the late actor who gave him the idea of the sequel.

Speaking to News18 Showsha, the director shared, “Post Jagga Jasoos, Irrfan and I were talking about a sequel to Life in a…Metro. He, in fact, had given me the idea to start working on it.
