Mumtaz Speaks About Daughter Natasha & Fardeen Khan’s Marriage

Veteran Bollywood actress Mumtaz has finally spoken about the much-discussed relationship of her daughter Natasha Madhvani and actor Fardeen Khan. While reports claim the couple is heading for a divorce, Mumtaz shared that they are not divorced yet and still remain husband and wife.

Fardeen Khan, son of iconic actor Feroz Khan, married Natasha, daughter of Mumtaz, in December 2005. Their wedding was private but elegant, with a themed sangeet and a civil marriage ceremony. However, over the years, their relationship faced many personal struggles.

In 2023, media reports revealed that Fardeen and Natasha had been living separately for over a year and were considering a peaceful separation. Now, in a recent interview with ETimes, Mumtaz shared her thoughts on the situation. She said, “They are saying they are separating but they aren’t still divorced. I love Fardeen a lot. He was born in front of me. They are still husband and wife.” Talking about their marital issues, she added, “Nothing serious has happened. Maybe they don’t get along anymore. Every marriage has ups and downs. They are too old; they won’t listen to me.”

She admitted that fights are normal in any marriage and expressed her hope that the couple stays together for the sake of their children. “Arguments hote hai. Natasha and Fardeen should not divorce, as they have kids. And I have seen Fardeen is a good father. He shifts his shooting days according to their schedule. He respects me to date.” Even if they go ahead with the divorce, Mumtaz believes their bond as parents will keep them connected. “Even if they divorce, they won’t be separated due to their kids.”

The couple has been through tough times, including Natasha’s miscarriage of twins via IVF in 2011. They later became proud parents to Diani Isabella in 2013 and Azarius in 2017. Currently, reports say that Fardeen stays in Mumbai with his mother, while Natasha lives in London with the children.
