One of the most special events of the month was the theatrical re-release of Umrao Jaan (1981). We saw veteran actor Rekha’s ethereal charm back on the big screen with all the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance. Quite a few actresses including Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Ananya Panday and others took to social media to pay tribute to the timeless legacy of Rekha by recreating her iconic look and sharing unseen pictures online. Another major event was the screening of Aamir Khan’s sports comedy drama Sitaara Zameen Par directed by R.S. Prasanna. The event had many celebs on the red carpet to cheer for the heartfelt initiative.
