Priyanka Chopra Jonas Says Daughter Malti Marie Calls Herself With THIS Name
During an appearance on Good Morning America, Priyanka opened up about Malti’s character traits. Calling the little one a ‘girly girl’, the actress noted that Malti is a huge fan of princesses. However, the one leading princess character she cannot get enough of is Moana. Hence, Malti introduces herself as Moana when saying her full name. Priyanka fondly shared, “She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she’s Moana. She insists it’s her name, like officially her name in school. She says, ‘I’m Malti Marie Moana.’”
Interestingly, Priyanka also revealed that Malti loves playing dress up with her mother. “She loves coming into my closet, wearing my shoes, seeing my dresses. She was with us when we were getting dressed for the Met Gala, and she put on my gloves and my hat and she said, ‘Mama and Gaga (Nick Jonas) are going to a ball, just like Cinderella,’” she said.
During the Heads of State premiere in NYC, Priyanka also noted that her daughter helped her get dressed for the occasion. Opening up further, she adorably shared that Malti always helps her with fashion instructions during her events.
Priyanka and Nick, in different occasions, also opened up about Malti calling Nick’s band the Donut Brothers, instead of Jonas Brothers. Nick also revealed that Malti is obsessed with Moana and Maui. “She wants to play Moana and Maui with me, and that means more to me than anything else, is that time with her. And just the fact that I’m just Dad when I’m home, it means a lot,” he said.
On the work front, Priyanka’s new movie, Heads of State, is releasing on July 2 on Prime Video.
