Austin Butler’s ‘Caught Stealing’ Lands Summer Release From Sony as ‘Insidious 6’ Moves Back a Year
Sony Pictures has set its release plan for Darren Aronofsky‘s Austin Butler-led feature, while the next installment in the Insidious franchise is getting delayed.
Adapting author Charlie Huston’s books, Caught Stealing is set to hit theaters Aug. 29. The film also stars Zoë Kravitz, Regina King, Liev Schreiber, Matt King and Bad Bunny.
Additionally, Insidious 6 from Screen Gems and Blumhouse will now hit theaters Aug. 21, 2026, after previously having been scheduled for Aug. 29, 2025.
Also, a placeholder date for an untitled Marvel movie initially slated for June 27, 2025, has been removed from the calendar.
