War 2’s Post Credit Scenes Introduces Bobby Deol’s Character From Alpha

Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani’s War 2 has released in the theatres today. It was received well by fans of the actors. The post-credit scene of the film is also creating waves online. Although NTR and Hrithik asked fans not to share spoilers, the end scene has been leaked on social media, and a lot of fans have shared it as the scene contains an important development in the Yash Raj Films Spy-Universe.
The post-credit scene teased Bobby Deol’s first look from YRF’s next spy film Alpha, which stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in key roles. His character is seen stamping the logo of an agency on the hand of a young girl. When the girl asks, “What’s this?” Deol answers, “Alpha.” The young girl further enquires about it, to which he explains that Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and their program’s motto – The first, the fastest and the strongest.” Many have speculated that this young girl could be young Alia’s character. Bobby will reportedly play the antagonist in Alpha.

Filmfare’s Review of War 2

Filmfare rated the film 3 out of 5 and said in its review:

War 2
“YRF have raised the bar when it comes to action in their spy universe films. Whether it’s Pathaan, Tiger or the original War, the action was key to enjoying the film. While good, the action here just about levels up and hasn’t gone beyond its predecessors. The same can be said of VFX. A much better job was expected, as we’d seen YRF going all out in their earlier outings. Summing up, see the film for the confrontation scenes between Hrithik Roshan and NTR. Fans of both the stars won’t get disappointed. Both the stars have extended themselves for the film and let’s hope their efforts bear fruit.”
