Shekhar Kapur: “I Never Saw Any Mental Illness in Sushant Singh Rajput” – Exclusive
Shekhar Kapur recently entered the ring and spoke about his career, the most important moments in his life, working with the late Sushant Singh Rajput and more. During the chat with Filmfare’s Editor-In-Chief Jitesh Pillaai, Shekhar Kapur opened up about he worked in the movie Paani with Sushant.

In another interview, Shekhar Kapur had also shared that Sushant had cried when he realised Paani was shelved. He also opened up about crying with the actor as the two of them were attached to the movie. “Jab film bandh ho gayi and he realised he wasn’t doing the film, bohot roya woh. Main bhi roya. Woh rota tha toh main bhi rota tha saath-saath because I was also passionately and deeply involved with it. Humari zindagiyaan hi kuch aisi hoti hai – ups and downs,” he added.

Shekhar also shared that he did not call or visit Sushant in the last six months, and the same bothers him. Not only movies, Shekhar recalled discussing many topics with the actor.
