Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Saiyaara to release on OTT on THIS date?
Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda emerged as one of the most successful films of this year. It marked Panday’s film debut and gave a big break to Aneet, who was previously seen in Salaam Venky and Big Girls Don’t Cry.
The romantic drama crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office and now it is all set for its OTT release. As per reports, Netflix has bought the streaming rights to Saiyaara. The casting director of the film, Shanoo Sharma, shared a post by OTTFLIX stating that the film will be released on Netflix on September 12, 2025. The caption of the post read, “(Tentative) #Saiyaara Streaming From September 12th, 2025 On @netflix_in”
While Netflix is yet to make the announcement, Shanoo sharing the post hints at the fact that Saiyaara might release on the streaming giant sometime in September.
Saiyaara was released theatrically on July 18. As per box office tracker Sacnilk, the net collection in India stands at Rs 318.5 crore whereas the global collection is at Rs 531 crore. The film also stars Rajesh Kumar, Shaan R Grover, Varun Badola, Shaad Randhawa and Alam Khan among others.
Filmfare’s Review of Saiyaara
Filmfare gave Saiyaara a rating of 3.5 out of 5 and read, “Aneet Padda, with a far more layered role, is a revelation. Portraying a character with a serious illness isn’t easy, especially when that character is also meant to carry the emotional weight of the film. But she does it with remarkable poise. Whether it’s her outbursts of rage or her haunting confusion when she forgets a loved one, she makes you ache for Vaani. Together, Ahaan and Aneet share a sparkling, lived-in chemistry that feels tender, believable and emotionally deep.”
