How Did Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor React After Watching Saiyaara?

Saiyaara is currently performing well at the box office. The movie has already impressed fans and now director Mohit Suri has opened up about it being one of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s favourites as well. During an interview with NDTV, Mohit Suri shared how the star couple reacted to the film.

When asked about Alia’s reaction, Mohit revealed that she saw the movie in the theatre and praised it immensely. “She went to watch it in the theatre. I was inviting her to a trial screening, but she said no, she would watch it in the theatre. After watching it, she praised it a lot. She took the numbers of both actors and spoke to them,” he shared. In fact, Alia also shared a social media post about the movie.

The director further shared that Alia made Ranbir watch Saiyaara. “She also showed the film to Ranbir. Alia has been supporting this film from the beginning because she felt it carries the same emotional depth that I often infuse in my own films. She has been very supportive throughout my career, actually,” he added.

Alia’s social media post read, “It’s safe to say…two beautiful, magical STARS are born @aneetpadda_ @ahaanpandayy — I don’t remember the last time I looked at two actors with such awe. With stars in my eyes… watching the stars in yours. You both shine with such individuality, such honesty — I could watch you again, and again, and again. (And let’s be honest… I probably will.) Suri also appreciated Ranbir Kapoor’s reaction to the film. He further mentioned, “Ranbir called me up and praised the film a lot. Unhone kaha ki abhi tujhe bahut filmein banani hai. Abhi thoda araam se kaam kar. Enjoy kar. (He said, ‘You still have to make many films. For now, take it easy. Enjoy’).”
