Saiyaara box office Day 7: What a fascinating 1st week for Ahaan-Aneet’s love story!
‘Saiyaara’, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, wrapped up its first week on a solid note. The film rocked a stellar Rs 172.75 crore nett in seven days, by collecting in double digits every single day.
The film opened to Rs 21.5 crore, and showed fantastic traction in theatres all through the week. So much so that its Wednesday collection was the same as the opening day – something both unprecedented and fantastic.
The Mohit Suri-directorial earned Rs 19 crore on Thursday – its lowest in seven days and still impressive. The weekend ahead looks promising too, with no other big Hindi release to share screens.

‘Saiyaara’ is looking at surpassing the benchmark of Rs 200 crore nett by the end of its second weekend. In fact, it will enter its second week in style with a figure in the range of Rs 230-240 crore nett.
The film has already emerged as the biggest debutant-led Bollywood entertainer. It is also only behind ‘Chhaava’ in garnering the highest week one collection for a Hindi film this year.
The second weekend is just another opportunity for it to create new records and break some more existing ones at the box office.
‘Saiyaara’ follows the story of a rising singer, Krish Kapoor (Panday), and Vaani Batra (Padda). It has drama, romance, chemistry, music, emotions and mesmerising music backing it all. The film is produced by YRF.
