Salman Khan Says Battle Of Galwan Is His Most Physically Challenging Film Yet

Salman Khan is preparing for the release of his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is based on the intense 2020 conflict between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh.

Salman recently spoke about the physical challenges he faced while playing his character in the film. He said, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day it gets more and more difficult. I have to give more time now. Earlier, I would manage it in one or two weeks, but now I’m running, kicking, punching, and doing all that stuff. This film demands that. For instance, in Sikandar, the action was different, the character was different. But this is physically difficult, especially shooting in Ladakh, at high altitudes and in cold water.”

Salman shared that he was initially enthusiastic about the idea, while also recognizing the challenging shoots that were planned ahead. He said, “I have 20 days in Ladakh and then seven to eight days in cold water. We will be shooting this month.”

It is known that Salman Khan often releases his films during Eid, but he has now mentioned that Battle of Galwan is scheduled to be released in theatres in January. Also, Salman Khan has also confirmed that a sequel to his 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan is currently in the works, which also marks its tenth anniversary today.

Salman Khan’s last film, Sikandar, which was released during Eid on March 30th, did not perform well at the box office. The film, directed by AR Murgadoss, had generated significant buzz before its release, but it did not seem to connect with his fans afterward. The cast included Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Jatin Sarna, Sanjay Kapoor, Prateik Smita Patil, and Kishore.
