Naseeruddin Shah to Embody JRD Tata in Made in India – A Titan Story

Made in India – A Titan Story is gearing up to unfold the extraordinary rise of Titan Company, and at its helm is none other than veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, reportedly portraying industrialist Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata– a role that’s already generating buzz alongside Jim Sarbh, who plays the company’s first MD, Xerxes Desai.

The six-part series, premiering exclusively on Amazon MX Player in 2025, is adapted from Vinay Kamath’s acclaimed book Titan: Inside India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand. Directed by Robbie Grewal with writing credits to Karan Vyas, the series retraces Titan’s formative journey- beginning in the 1980s- from a bold idea to a nation-wide icon. Highlights include the creation of the world’s slimmest watch and a nod to the guiding ethos of JRD Tata.

Produced by Almighty Motion Pictures in partnership with T‑Series Films, the show dives into pivotal historical moments of Indian entrepreneurship and innovation.
