Metro In Dino X review: Fans impressed with Sara’s performance, miss Irrfan

As ‘Metro In Dino’ released in theatres today, social media users on X were divided in their verdict. While some praised the film and urged filmmakers to bring back rom-coms to the big screen, others found it predictable.

One of the social media users wrote, “We are back baby, we are back. What a movie. Please continue to make these “rom-com”. ‘Metro In Dino’ is a great film. I loved it very much. Every actor did great work. No words for Pritam and his gang. A much-needed movie for Bollywood (sic)”

Another user said, “‘Metro in Dino’, a beautiful musical drama / play. It felt like I was watching a real-time play, different stories, connecting dots and a twist in each story. Paarth was fab, Chunki was goofy but mature and was awesome. Pritam’s music is dhaniya on sabzi (sic).”

There were many who appreciated Sara Ali Khan’s performance in the film. One of them wrote, “Sara is just fabulous in Metro In Dino. Unnecessarily mocked for her look. Very natural and authentic in her portrayal of Chumki (sic).”

Meanwhile, another commented, “Watched ‘Metro in Dino’. Predictable, long and same stuff like we should follow our dreams and many other things that have been repeated in many web series and movies….time to now go beyond this. (sic)”

There was also a user who missed the presence of late actor Irrfan and said, “Missed Irrfan today. Could totally imagine him in ‘Metro In Dino’, quietly owning every scene with his effortless presence.”

Irrfan payed a pivotal role in ‘Life in a Metro’.
